    We're dealing with that in our family. My dad's last wife has been exceedingly excommunicated. Mind you, you know this woman, to one extent or another. We had to tolerate her for some time, until she became family. Now she is pretty much poisonous to mention (in certain company).

    My grandma is in California, and tomorrow she's getting together with my dad's first wife, my mom. That my dad's second wife isn't invited is kind of an afterthought, though more of an indictment on the second wife's character.

    The "excommunicated" status is kind of an added convenience.

    Forgive me for asking but whose is ur mother from either of your fathers wives. From your comments it seems that ur not son of either of those. No pun intended (if u know what I mean)
