It doesn't mean sexism is responsible.

"If this were the only reason, wouldn't you expect women who work 40 hours a week or women who have never been married to be on par with men?"

No, I wouldn't. Women who have never married are not comparable with women who have. People like getting married and having children; those who are unable tend to be ones who are incapable of doing so. This usually bleeds over to the rest of their life.

"Fair enough, but which do you think is more valuable: a parking lot attendant or a cashier?"

Jobs aren't paid by value. They are paid by however much is necessary to get people to do the job. A parking lot attendant tends to be more exposed to weather and so probably has a higher wage.

"can you honestly say that teachers and childcare workers are paid a fair wage given the requirements needed to get into the field and the workload involved?"

Wages are not based on fairness. They are based on what it takes to get people to take the job. Since there are large numbers of people who want to interact with children, this drives down the wages. It is the same reason starting on the professor track is so hard- there is a large labor reserve of people who will take the job.

"While I totally acknowledge that this is a possibility, I haven't seen any research that suggests this is more likely than the alternative. If you're aware of a study of that kind, I'd be interested in seeing it."

The most famous example is women's soccer. In the old days it was coached by women. Then the US government mandated women's sports and provided large amounts of funding. Rather rapidly the coaching positions were taken over by men.

The other way to check this is to realize that if adding women lowers wages, employers would be constantly trying to hire women which would result in an equilibrium where women have the same employment opportunities as men. You can only avoid that with cultural or government pressure external to business.

Re: The Definition of a Purple Team

This article was worth my attention. If a bible was to be in a library it would be in the fiction section of a library. No religion is based on truth. A so called God wouldn't allow the atrocities that has occurred throughout the world throughout history. Only children should believe in make believe and once old enough people soon realise fact from fiction. The truth and fact is all anyone should believe in and it isn't to hard to learn or figure the truth out and know fact from fiction. Be great that all life or lives don't end when death arise, but fact is fact, once your dead that's it forever whether you die young or old. And anyways there is meant to be only one God and there's more than 1 religious belief and what about Alan and Buddha. And look at the Catholic church and the sexual abuse of children and these sexual abuses of children are supposed men of God
All in all there is no God or any so called higher being

Re: A Visual Breakdown of Intellectual Dark Web (IDW) Political Positions

Section 1 is one sentence long. Cause my point was that vaccination isn't really a dividing line between conservatives and liberals.

My picture of right wingers is actually a pretty broad coalition of people who I generally disagree with for various different reasons.
