There are similaries, yes, but I don't think they are nearly as inconsiderate as Microsoft has been in the past. Let's hope that if enough people complain about the practices that we don't like, they'll fix them.

This is currently how business deals with its customers...antagonize them to no end and wonder what went wrong as they are filing for bankruptcy protection. I told you about my thing with Symantec and Ghost 10. Purchased a legitimate copy only for it to be useless since I have activated the key too many times. If I want to use Ghost 10 in the future, a useful product by the way, I will have to mail the cd to Symantec and prove to them that I purchased it. Sure glad I am being protected from the cost of piracy...oh wait, actually that cost has been passed on to the me.
