Islam: It’s the Intolerance That’s Scary
For Server '08 (and any other MS product) look into the Microsoft Action Pack subscription. It's $299/year and you get pretty much any and all software MS puts out mailed to you in a big binder, plus you get quarterly updates. You have to be a MS Partner to participate, but all that means is that you can be a consultant, teacher, reseller, etc that endorses/teaches/resells MS stuff. VERY easy. $300 and you get EVERYTHING. Beta's, Alpha's and Final Releases.
Also, if that doesn't appeal to you, I've heard about MSDN subscriptions. However, I have no experience with that and don't know what all is included, so YMMV.
BTW, my recommendation for a Check Point box is to run their Secure Platform OS (SPLAT) and run the firewall on that. Very stable IMO and experience.
As long as it isn't Windows Home Server....

i agree with jonathan (above). go for the action pack subscription. you won't be disappointed (it includes way more than just server 2008 as well) -- pretty much everything you'd want/need to run at home.
