Free Will and Punishment
I am not religious nor a believer and I don't like Huckabee but I expect integrity from everyone. That comment is honest and is what I'd expect to hear from a religious man. If he wins the elections you can't complain later.
Gravel replied about evolution "Oh God, no. Oh, Jesus. We thought we had made a big advance with the Scopes monkey trial ... My God, evolution is a fact, and if these people are disturbed by being the descendants of monkeys and fishes, they've got a mental problem. We can't afford the psychiatric bill for them. That ends the story as far as I'm concerned."
Mike Gravel is awesome.
If there were an actual war (as in military vs. military) against a nation with a fundamentalist non-christian leader, maybe Huckabee would be the one to vote for. Or, if we wanted to pick up where the crusades left off. Fight fire with fire right? If you vote for this guy, you are confirming you desire religion based world war against non christians, support destroying science in our schools, and falling for what is essentially a con artist routine.
"Soliders" for Christ? Why not "Teachers" for Christ, or "Healers" for Christ, or "reasonable, loving, open-minded human beings" for Christ? Mohammed was a warrior, he led an army, not Christ.
